Re: Wiper motors and intermittant wipers
Hi Roger, Mine is a 70MY 2.2S. For a couple of decades nothing happened on the first position of the wiper switch. I eventually decided to sort it out and I learnt about the bizarre (and it is when seen in action) intermittent wipe mode. Turned out to be one of the relays was faulty. Bought a pair s...

Re: BIB5566
Thanks Jason.
First pic is my modified speaker. Cone was toast so I used the frame to mount a new 3 way.
The profile of the repair to the left of instruments wasn't perfect, but it shows what can be done.
Before pics show previously attempts at filling.

I'll see what I can find. Problem is I don't have any picture hosting at moment, but I could always install tapatalk. Alternatively email them.

Re: BIB5566
Last year I refurbished my dash pad. Same crack as yours, but not quite so bad. A local coach trimmer who does vinyl repairs said he would have a go at filling and blending in, as long as I 'stabilised' the structure. I used some 2 pack glue/filler used for bumper repairs to bond the foam back to me...

Re: BIB5566
Your pull switch with wires attached looks like a rear wiper switch. On mine (70MY) it is fitted under the dash binnacle below clocks.
Pretty sure the double green/white wires are fog light as you suggest.

Graham. I've swapped my standard 400mm for 380mm and it is surprising how much sportier it feels for little visual difference. I managed to find a nice leather 914 from Ebay in USA at reasonable money. Stayed with narrow rim as I have ickle hands :) .Nice leather but I ended up restitching, modded c...

Re: Way off-topic, but can anyone help?
Definitely some issues with RM parcels at moment. I bought some wood dye on Ebay. Seller was very responsive to my queries as to why it hadn't arrived. This was last email. It turned up the following day :) . So I would give it another couple of days. "Now we know more about reasons for that. C...
