I'm on the lookout for a silver if possible , script badge for a 1966 engine lid , I believe its a 2 piece item . Battered marked or even broken . Anybody got something. Can't bring myself to stick a gold coloured one on .

I was gonna replace mine but when I saw the cost I put the old ones back on. Mine weren't too worn and as they are only for the handbrake I reused them. You can get the old ones relined for about £75 if they are not reusable. Rob I could be wrong but I think early ones are 32mm wide and later ones ...

Cheers for replies guys , i have rebuilt the front end , new products made and on my site now , as to the trackrods i have sourced some modern vw ones that look like they will be perfect . So hopefully should have results soon .

Turbo tie rods are a good sensible upgrade. BUT if your car and steering rack are short wheel base then you will need the extended turbo tie rod kit as you will not get the length and sufficient threads in the rack for safety. Turbo trackrods onto early rack setup Questions
Got everything off under my 912 and the trackrod ends and the rubber buffers that screw into the rack are all shot , would it be better to replace the rods and buffers with a later turbo trackrod setup , so just rods boots and ends .
