Re: PPI for a car in Bristol
Wow that is a long way to be going!! Looks like WB has great potential and hugely oversubscribed I believe. It clashes with something I wanted to do at Kop Hill that weekend but I am going to support WB instead by going to spectate as it will be great to have it be a success.

Re: PPI for a car in Bristol
Thank you JW, that is a good back up option. A fair way to get the guy to take the car so still hoping for something closer to Bristol centre. I have already discounted OPC Bristol on a car that age but maybe that is premature.
Are you doing the inaugural Watergate Bay event coming up?

PPI for a car in Bristol
Hi All. Who would you use for a pre-putchase inspection for a car in the centre of Bristol? The car is a 1970 911. I have done some research and Bristol doesn't seem to have any well know specialists. If no recommendations close to Bristol does anybody use Oak Tree Garage near Exeter these days and ...

The following appeared in MotorSport magazine November 1968 edition page 18 "A Lighthearted Look at the London Show" "This took us to the small stand occupied by Porsche, where we were glad to see H. J. Aldington about again. Centre of attraction was a Dunlop-shod competition Porsche...

Re: Earls Court Show Cars October 1968
Hi Arfor good to see you too. It is almost certainly a typo in the handwritten records and may well be OGJ 1G.
Ian.
Edit: Clarification - Rob confirms later in the thread the car was originally registered OGJ 1E and the records were correct.

Re: Earls Court Show Cars October 1968
Hi. This might help. I have cross checked the AFN cars for the details posted earlier and these are the cars that seem to be the candidates for the show cars. Earls Court Motor Show - 16th to 26th October 1968 Model, RHD/LHD, Colour, Interior, AFN Delivery, Chassic, Dealer, Customer Delivery, Regist...

Re: LSD suggestions for 915 gearbox
I don't think I've explained myself properly here. I feel the car is now more effective through the corners, not less. So if I'm "pressing on" through fast corners I feel it's better. I don't feel it slides at lower speeds than before - unless provoked. The difference is before I wouldn't...
