914/6 conversion for sale.
Afternoon all! Well i can confirm that the car is still for sale. Thanks to James for that clip!!!! Fame at last!!!! The car didn't sell on ebay first time round as to be honest, i had no idea where to begin the bidding or indeed what kind of 'buy it now' price to post. As a few of you will attest, ...

Engine for sale.
Hey all, Just noticed this thread and realised that I have a 1.7 914 engine lying around. It is complete save for fuel system. The FI packed up and i converted it to run with Dell'Orto's. These have now been removed, but the rest is still there. It leaked a bit of oil, but other than that, ran fine....

Le Beast!
Hi Stephen, Have replied! Just to let you all know, i just went for a drive in the car today and it still puts a big fat smile on my face! Also, car is expected to be on ebay tomorrow. If anyone is looking for a car with all the hard (and grossly expensive bits) done, then look no further! Thanks! M...

Porsche 914/6 Conversion
Hello all, the time has come to sell the beast. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y149/defender47/914C.jpg As a few of you will know, I have been doing this car on and off, for a few years now. It is still not finished, but does not really have that much left to do. The paint is far from perfect but ...

Values
Morning all, I was just wondering about values of 914's as they seem to be somewhat steady with prices rising seemingly in line with engine size. However, i was curious as to know what value folk would put on a six conversion. Obviously a fantastic job like Ian has done on his, is likely to command ...

My 914....err...six?
Morning! Don't talk to me about time buddy! My pile of doo doo has been in the making for the best part of three years!!! I've had three damn job changes in that time!!! However, i am beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel. Project began as a rather ropey 1.7 purchased from Tower....ah...

Hub flanges
Hi,
Might you still have any of the hub assembly left?
I need some early type hub flanges with the five raised bosses. I need some to be drilled for five stud, but am uncertain on whether a '73 car would have this typ or the later thinner type. Anyone clarify this for me?
Thanks!
Mark

Spa 6 hours
Awesome!!! Good work James. I also think the incar footage of my old mans Porker at Spa is pretty damn good too. However, take a look at the video a couple of clips down from yours entitled Taking the Lead at Spa. The Posters name will not give you a clue as this is no TVR!!! If my suspicions are co...

Hmmm!
Just had a look at that link that Barrie put up. Makes for interesting reading. However, check out the list of cars suitable for Class P4. I knew the Rothmans Porsches were quick, but how the hell did they do so well with just 160bhp?????!!!!! See below! Michelin Porsche Speed Championship 2...

Howdy, Good work on starting a GT replica. I was nearly there, car went to Le Mans etc with new engine, etc etc, got back and wanted to start on the rest of the conversion, then in a massively stupid act of generosity, I sold my Dad my engine as his 'E' engine in his race car was looking like it was...

Sorry Steve, I also meant to say, thanks for the offer. I'm in East Dulwich, but it's not far to jump on the North Circ to the M11 junction. Trouble is, the 2.2 is coming out of the car this sunday and saturday is looking busy too. However, if you're not doing anything much next weekend, I could tru...
