Re: OT Restoration although with some Porsche content...
Just read through this thread, fantastic to see someone giving the 2cv some love! My dad is 2cv mad and has owned, sold and restored tons of them. He is thinning out his fleet but intends to keep at least 1 standard 2cv and his favourite red white and blue 2cv van which he proudly bombs about the sm...

Re: New Black Head Lining

Where was the headlining from? Is it perforated? What material is it? How long ago did you buy it?
Assuming the above checks out I'll take it please, can collect sometime soon if that works for you?

Are you sure its diff noise and not CV joint? What sort of noise is it? Fluid been done?
Should be fairly easy to find a used replacement if needed, might be cheaper than refurbing yours.
Or just bin the 4WD stuff and go RWD

Looks like he needs a pair of trousers more than he needs a mustang!
Only kidding - what a lovely thing to do for your son, I hope he appreciates all the effort.

Re: brakes pulling to one side
Can we not be a bit more logical here - callipers may actually be fine! If you have time / inclination you can do some simple tests to try to narrow down the problem a bit.
