Re: P O R S C H E side script

Was this an option on a 66 car, I have not seen this script on a SWB?

Forum not secure

This might well be the wrong place to post this but my Windows 10 with Chrome browser comes up with 'site unsecure' when logging into this forum.

Could someone please give me the measurement of the distance from the bottom of the door frame to the centre-line of the trim and the dista...

Just been to have a look and I found the holes in the carpet on the seats, thanks for the pointer.

Re: 911 fittings

Is this the carpet that is fixed to the back of the fold-down seat backs?

I had trouble posting the pictures but I found if you right click them and open in new tab they would show.

911 fittings

Can anyone tell me what the fittings are for behind the rear seats, nothing in my garage full of bits look like they might fit. There are three inverted U shaped brackets one either side and a pair in the middle with a self tapper in the top. https://photos.app.goo.gl/SKF21arjeJmPpK4p6 https://photo...

Re: Rear Bumper fixing

Thanks for the info, one thing that seems missing from your list is the rubber spacer. This is the order I will do: From top down Bolt, washer, wing quarter, rubber spacer, bumper, Support bracket, washer, nylock nut. It's interesting you mentioned the oil tank bracket, when I did the first restorat...

Rear Bumper fixing

I hope you don't mind if I post this question again, there were no replies last time. :( I am fitting the rear bumpers on my swb car. Could anyone tell me the order of the support tube, rear wing and bumper fitting. All the exploded diagrams I have don't make it obvious. I have the rear wing flange,...

Re: Tin Ware to Heat Exchanger Pipe

Slightly off topic but I find the heater pipe is crushed by the flexible oil pipe to the tank, is this very close fit normal?

Re: Help, front brake caliper held on with only one bolt!

I have a (mainly) 65 car and the steering rack has no flange for a plastic dust sleeve on the steering wheel shaft. Is this a feature of an early rack?
