I expect they are CNC milling it from a block of metal. They have lots of hi tech milling machines but no 3d printers as far as I am aware.

Having been shown round the facility and seen the work they do for all the big names, pretty sure your case...

Does anyone have cases that need work and could be bought for a very reasonable price? I have a guy who can laser weld magnesium, which can potentially save cases which were previously considered junk. I'm fishing to see if there something out there easier to repair than the one I have. Thanks Tim S...

So I had a conversation with him about an engine case repair at the DDK swapmeet. He said to email him, which I have done, but not heard back.
