Finally removed the pistons, temporary fitted the calliper back on car and pushed the pistons out placing a bit of wood in the centre to stop firing out., got new seals etc, all cleaned up however pistons even without the rubber seals installed will not fully go back into the bores, both sides the s...

Ok thanks for the replies, calliper is off at present but will connect up and try that route.

Rear brake Caliper piston removal

H, any tips on removing the pistons from the Calipers, be soaked in release fluid, tried air to push them out, don't seem to be rusted in and from previous recipes were fully rebuilt about 10 years ago. any advice appreciated. they are ATE callipers.

Hi, Ive used it quite a few times as a seller, buyer pays the price plus postage to eBay for the international shipping part (they only pay you for local shipping), you ship to the eBay distribution centre and eBay deal with it from there. emails on progress and signed for delivery. All Sorted now, went over to PRS and they matched a sender unit to my gauge and tested, great service and advice. 1968 gauge needed a sender the increased in resistance when hot as opposed to the newer ones that work in reverse.

Temp gauge reburb / upgrade

Any recommendations and advice on upgrading the temp gauge from a 1968 car so you can use the later style sender units, does anyone convert the gauge or are replacements available. I've seen the correct senders however these are around the £150 mark as opposed to £30 for the 1969 onwards type.

Would buying in the states and shipping back with a car in container be an option, seem to be a few people shipping back cars these days - just a thought or maybe one of the OPC,s in Europe
