Re: The definitive early seatbelt thread ?
I've been looking for replacement seatbelts. Looks like there are a few companie that manufacturer them: http://www.vintageseatbelts.com (US site with no gallery of their products) http://Www.securon.co.uk (they manufacture belts for many modern car manufacturers. Lots of choice, but not a lot focus...

Re: The definitive early seatbelt thread ?
Hi, I need to replace my passenger (LHD car) side 1970T seatbelt as the intertia lock is no longer working properly. Its now impossible to pull out the belt unless you are on a very steep hill. Anyone know of anyone who services these? Also, looking at the photos it looks as if the part (receivers?)...

Re: Exchange flywheel bolts?
I didn't risk it. I bought my bolts from pelican along with a load of other engine rebuild parts. The flywheel didnt fit properly so I took it off and fitted it again with a second set of new bolts. If You want a set of bolts that have been installed and torched up (for a 9 bolt engine so lower for ...

Re: Are these cars losing there soul
My 70T has soul. It currently looks like a 2.7rs with a 3.0sc engine and lots of lightweight parts. It still drives like a 45 year old car and smells the same as it always did. One day with the help of all the original parts and engine in my garage and help from the likes of AAS sales I might put it...

Re: Help with buying PMOs
I installed my new ignition system over the weekend. With a properly recurved distributor, MSD, NGK 5ES plugs gapped to .8mm my PMO equipped 3.0SC engine now starts first time and goes really well. Some final tuning to do, but now the PMO's are great.

Re: Help with buying PMOs
I fitted PMO's on my SC engine. I ordered mine through Jean Buser in France, but got lots of advice from Richard before, during and after. I didn't originally go with some of the recommended modifications (recurved distributor, MSD, hotter plugs) as i used a different 3rd party ignition system, but ...

Re: SC seatbelts
There's a guy on the early911s registry who is selling the webbing and repro labels if you want to do a DIY job. The webbing he has is 65-73. Not sure if they changed it for the later cars.

Re: How to Repair Your Clock
The solenoid bit (to the right on the second photo) is missing on the clock that came with my car. Its otherwise complete and i've since bought a replacement, but it would be good to get them both going. Any source for these?

Re: Lightweight flywheel
I bought a Fidenza flywheel for my 79SC engine. Unfortunately it fouled on the engine block so i returned it and bought a stock one. Shame, because it was very pretty.

Re: Engine stand yoke
Just finished my engine build using this stand and it worked perfectly, although i have a couple of improvements to propose. 1) the reinforcement around the mounting holes was slightly proud, so i had to grind them down in order to fit the flywheel gear ring and clutch. 2) i didin't know the bracket...
