Re: STARTER MOTOR - HIGH TORQUE TYPE
Thanks for this Knoxy, I should have checked the forum earlier, as I've had this issue for a few months!! After a run, the car will re-start immediately, but if left for 10 mins (eg filling up with fuel/picking kids up from school) it often won't start. If its left for a further 10/15 mins, it will ...

Re: 356 Coupe EV Project
Thanks Paul, since my post I have taken on another project, slightly different to what I originally envisaged.
However, still keen to do the EV 356 in the future, so will bear in mind the fact that you can supply chassis when I do.
All the best,
Matt

356 Coupe EV Project
Hi, I have posted on the wanted forum, but thought it might be worth a post here too. I am looking for a 356 Coupe replica for an EV project. Obviously won't need engine, etc, so would prefer car without. Perhaps an abandoned project? If you have/know of anything that might suit, I'd be grateful if ...

Obviously won't need engine, etc, so would prefer car without.
Perhaps an abandoned project?

Control Arm
Hi,
Discovered a hole at the weekend in the passenger side front lower control arm on my 1967 RHD 912, right between the bolts that hold the ball joint in place.
Have tried the usual suspects, but no one has stock at present.
Can anyone help, or point me in the right direction?
Many thanks,
Matt

Hi Neil,
I'm also planning to be at Stanford Hall in my 67 coupe.
Look forward to meeting everyone there.

Engine Tuning
Having removed engine for the restoration, and fitting carb refurb kit and electronic ignition since re-installing, I am now looking for someone who knows 912 engines to tune it.
Stamford/Rutland/Peterborough area would be ideal - anyone have any recommendations?
Many thanks,
Matt

Apologies, bit late to this thread - Please add my '67 RHD UK supplied 912, GTK 155E.
Recently MOT'd and back on the road after 3 year SORN whilst being restored.

Yes, you're absolutely right - I think these must have been designed for decorative purposes only!

Re: The Final Furlong
Thanks Chaps, used the holes on the inside of the doors to locate the mirrors and they look spot on.
Booked in for MOT on Friday, keep your fingers crossed for me!

The Final Furlong
As usual, I'm after a favour. Just some final bits to add and I'll be ready for an MOT after a three year restoration. As the doors and bonnet had work done at the bodyshop, the original holes for the door mirrors (Durant style) and bonnet badge are no more. Could somebody let me know the correct di...

Agreed Value
Hi, wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for an agreed valuation? My 67 RHD 912 is nearing the end of a 2 year restoration, and I only have it covered for £20k at present, which seems a bit on the low side (better be anyway given the amount I've spent!). My insurer (RH) state that...

Re: New to here and new to Porsche
Just wanted to say a quick hello as I can't be far from you (I live in Bainton). I have a RHD 67 912 which has been at the bodyshop for the past 14 months undergoing an extensive restoration - went to see it last night for the first time since it was sprayed (silver) and it looks incredible. Can't w...

Re: New Porsche SWB rear bumper (left)
Thanks Garry, bit of a misunderstanding I'm afraid - it was rear quarter panels I was after, ie rear wings, rather than bumpers. Thanks anyway, and hope you find a buyer soon. Cheers, Matt
