Thanks again everyone. Domtoni, are the reflectors easy to adjust? Any tips?
Just drove the car back from Liverpool Docks, I cant believe how freely the thing revs! Awesome.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking of storing away the original units. I will try the stickers first. I really just want to get an MOT to be able to register it in time for Le Mans ( Just in case I decide to take it!)

So just to confirm, I will need at least new lenses if not complete light units. The original headlights cant just be adjusted?
Can anyone recommend a supplier I could talk to regarding new units.

Thanks Andy, I am right in thinking it is just the lenses that need changing or the complete unit? Also I presume the existing units would be suitable in Europe as well?

Hello all, further to my original post my new to me '68 911 is waiting for me at the Docks to be picked up. As per the advice already given I need to MOT it in readiness for registering in the UK. Are the headlights adjustable to suit UK roads or do I need to replace them with UK versions? Again tha...

Thanks for the reply, that sounds easy enough, I've brought a car in from Italy before with no problems but I wasn't sure if USA or Canada would be more tricky.

Greetings everybody, having just purchased my first 911 I am impatiently waiting for it to cross the Atlantic from Canada. I was hoping someone may be able to advise on requirements for registering it in the uk. Does anybody know what mods need to be carried out? Is it just a case of getting an mot ...
