What goes around, comes around

I see this 1969 911 T is back on the market again. Discussed previously on DDK, not sure of origins, or arrival in the UK, or ownership prior, but it just seems to be doing the rounds at the moment. Currently on ebay, with a reserve and that has not been reached http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...

Re: Modernise a 912 engine...

Run a set of Dellorto DRLA 36's once set up properly, they are brilliant, and improve the bottom end torque.
They hardly need adjustment, and you will not look back.
I've fitted them now to 3 of my cars and never looked back

Re: help manufacturing a steering wheel adapter

Have you tried the Mountney 'Snap Off' range. The boss on that is alloy, and can be drilled and tapped for your existing wheel?

Highly Collectable 912 on Car and Classic

Anyone know the history of this one, or seen it?

Not sure why you would strip down and rebuild an engine/gearbox, if already rebuilt by someone as well known?

Re: 2.2/2.4 S - Estimate a bit low....

Looks like it was red before (top right hand corner, by all pipe looks red underneath)
Also looks like the sound deadening material has been sprayed yellow as well?

Re: Porsche collection to be auctioned by ACA

How many members are going to visit the auction, or consider bidding on anything on the day? I think I'll travel up from Cornwall. It has to be worth a look, and something like this does not come along that often. 1) it has to be worth a look, as the next and last auction for 2013 is November. 2) so...

Brown 911 SC back dated up for sale on ebay

Back dated 911 SC up for sale again on ebay, has been discussed before....... this time listed with no reserve. I think last time it got to £12,500 and reserve was not met. May be a cheap car for someone? This has been listed several times now, so owner may be desperate to sell, especially if the re...

Re: Gearbox mount 1967

I thought there was only 2 square rubber Mounts, for the later gearbox mount. If it looks like 4 have they split in two?
I got mine off a DDK member Mike Smith (Mike at P.R.S. www.prs356.com) who had some really good second hand ones.
Max at revival also does new and second hand ones
