I know of the old Covin replicas but surely given the unobtainable prices of the early 911s someone should offer something (based on what I don’t know?! :lol: )

So is this a common, or even inevitable failure on a non-turbo 996, say a Carrera 2, and what is the expected mileage and fix cost? Does the fix deal with the problem permanently or just re set the clock on that issue. Just doing my homework before trying to steer my Mrs into a 996 as a daily drive...
