Re: Speedo / odometer / trip meter

Hi Keith - thanks for that.. very useful. However, having read it a couple of times I still can't quite see how to remove the faceplate without disturbing the needle? I don't want to have to get it recalibrated.

Thanks again.

Speedo / odometer / trip meter

Got the car back on the road after 4 years with gauges fitted which I thought had been re-stored. However, after two miles the odometer and trip meter stop working although the speedo still functions. Took the outer ring off and got to the mechanism and it looks like someone has been in there recent...

Postimage..

After the Photobucket 'incident' last year I moved across to Postimage and guess what.... the links aren't working there now either.

Anyone know what's going on or of a fix?

Thanks.

Front scuttle support

Can anyone help me out with the part number for this. I've looked at PET but can't find it, or better still does anyone have one lying around they don't need? I know it's a simple strip of metal with a hole drilled each end but I thought I'd ask before making one. https://s20.postimg.cc/shctwqifx/fr...

Re: Rear inner wing aperture for oil tank neck and gasket

Yes I was trying to fit a pattern gasket which feels more solid than an original. Porsche one now on order so hopefully this will make a difference.

If anyone has easy access to the aperture I'm still keen to compare measurements.

Thanks.

Rear inner wing aperture for oil tank neck and gasket

I'm having a lot of difficulty fitting the big rubber gasket and as a result the oil tank, as it appears the hole is too small. I can't imagine why anyone would have ever modified the aperture but I have no original measurements for reference. Would anyone who has easy access to this aperture on the...

Re: Wiring looms

This guy (timmy2) has received excellent reviews on Pelican. I have no experience of him as Gary Cook re furbed my original harness but he may be worth getting in touch with.
