I'm aware that IRS is generally regarded as 'better', however I was wondering if there's a case for a swing axle set up on a 356 replica? (other than being closer to an original 356) what are the pros and cons? And what set up are you running?

Was 'King of the Hill' with Harry Hamlin ever put onto DVD? This is a 356 racer who beat all comers in the hills in California, meant to be based on a true event ??? Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks for the response Del, I don't doubt that speedster clinic chassis are superb, however as long as it's professionally done on a jig (ie I won't be doing it) a shortened vw chassis is a tried and tested design for kit building, as is IRS conversion.
