Re: 1965 Hillman Imp soon with flat six from a Honda
That took a couple reads, but think I get it! Really, really good, Alex! I'm sure you are sketching a few parts of the design process. Please add one or two to really simplify how it's going together

I (we) hope you keep the thread going when you get to that shell! :) The above wreck is for mock up only. If this engine were going in that then amongst the cycling, swimming, and other joys Alex has on his doorstep this thread would easily pass into 2025! Fingers crossed for a house truck build th...

Re: 914 : Road Trip to Italy
I look forward to following this! My dad and I did the 914 International meet this year down near San Tropez. It was the first big drive having been bought as an unfinished project and recovered home by tow truck twice in the 900 or so miles it had done up until then (failed coil and something simil...

2024 Belgium International 914 Meeting
The 2024 International Meeting will be in Belgium and registration for tickets opens on the 16th of this month. Likely open to 100+ cars, but tickets sell out in minutes after opening, so wise to be ready! Still awaiting a release time, some information here for now: https://cms.porsche-clubs.com/po...

Re: KS's hillclimbing odyssey
I have plenty of plans for the winter, involving a partial engine teardown to change the rods, cylinders and pistons, plus a few other mods. More of that at a later date... I would likely be interested in these bits when the time comes! Really enjoying the development of this! The gearbox upgrades ...

You might want to say where it is for for sale in Glasgow, as others on this site may be interested in it? Any sale links? I can not find a for sale advert on the usual classified sites, but the seller did put a post on the UK 914 Facebook page last week asking anyone interested to get in touch dir...

Large Chrome RH 911 Flag Mirror + Chrome Headlight Bezels
I am keen to buy a RH 911 large chrome flag mirror, the type fitted around 1974-76. Also, a pair of non-adjustable chrome headlamp bezels - the type with a single fitment screw.
Thanks,
Steven

If considering a carbon frame and you want the peace of mind that comes from buying new then this seems good value at £1299 with lots of branded parts - Mavic wheels, Continental tyres, Prologo seat, etc. https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/ribble-r872-disc-anthracite-shimano-tiagra/ Steel is an excellen...

Euro 911 Headlights, G Series Corner Front Bumper Strips, Chrome Flag Mirror, + 7" Maxilite Fuchs
Hello, Having recently acquired a 1976 US spec 912E, I am trying to source a few bits for a European spec conversion. Firstly a pair of headlights ideally with chrome trim rings. Secondly, a right hand side chrome flag mirror, probably 17x10cm, but will confirm shortly. Third, front rubber corner bu...
