As the second owner of a 1971 D series 2.2S UK spec. with the original maroon owners booklets is it worth getting getting a COA, i always thought all came with the same spec.?

I have a related question.
One reads that all 2.2S had Aluminium engine lids and numberplate panels but my car has steel ones, yet before the respray those panels were in original paint like the rest of the car.
What is the real answer on Alu panels?

I think the main point is that at night one can drive a 911 (S in particular) at a rate ( not on UK roads of course, officer) that the main lights simply can't cope with.
