Old cars, gotta love ‘em!
Almost there Mark, keep at it.
Worth double checking the parts you removed when taking off the inlet manifolds, check for air leaks etc.

Mark, just a thought but can you still plug in a standard 3.2 ECU or is your car modified too much? I have a 3.2 ECU you could borrow.

Re: 1987 3.2 Carrera Backdate project - Sladeys hotrod
Did you pull a spark plug to confirm it’s dry? If it is and you have fuel pressure at The rail then as has been mentioned the injectors aren’t firing. A quick way to prove if it is fuel related and not ignition is to spray some easy start into the air box, it should cough or splutter if the ignition...

Re: 1987 3.2 Carrera Backdate project - Sladeys hotrod
The clicky bit might still work but a pin (male or female side) can be out of place. Can you get to it and have a look inside both halves? Re: 1987 3.2 Carrera Backdate project - Sladeys hotrod
Yes that’s plugged in - is that the fairly big one with I think 4 connectors in it? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro Yes that’s the one. So if you have fuel pressure and the pump is running, and you have a spark at the plugs, then the only thing stopping it can be the injectors not firing, whic...
