Re: subLiME 1975 Carrera 2.7 it's here at last!

Superb! I'm envious. And increasingly impatient. I am already stockpiling parts for my restoration, I now know I can confidently order the paint. :) Think yours was silver originally Paul? I know of 3 other silver RHD UK supplied plus 1 BFPO which is also being restored at the moment. There ...

Re: 1976 3.0 Carrera, they any good?

The black Maxted-Page (second time they had sold it) one was concours, 60 something K miles and featured in the very fist edition of 911 & Porsche World. Mark, If you are hoping for central locking and electric seats in a C3 you will be disappointed, your list of options is erroneous they only c...

Re: '74 Carrera Coupe

I do know of a silver 75 if you want one though Mr H. Differences wise - different engine lid / spoiler, bit more soundproofing. Not much else I can think of, though I'm sure Guy will know hundreds of things. :) Sam, I also know of a silver one for sale, is yours in Cornwall? Can't come up with hun...

Original car in this post at 2 Shores now showing as sold. So despite a bit of overspray but returned to original didn't stick around for long.

Re: Nice looking 1974 Carrera ...

Agreed, nice looking car - agreed about the front end and the unpainted wing bolts let it down I am pretty sure it should also have a black headliner, and the seats don't look correctly detailed. For '74 the leatherette seats only had fabric headrests when the 'twill' option was selected, and this ...

Re: Nice looking 1974 Carrera ...

They really are lovely cars 2.7 Carreras. That's a very good colour too. Shame about the metal roof and improperly positioned steering wheel. But if it had a 'properly' positioned steering wheel and rag roof it would be less than half the price. In fact that car was less than half the price when it...

Re: 1968 2.0 S @ Bonhams

Paul, thanks for the mention but sorry to say there are at least three Lime Green '75 coupes, another one in Australia and one that is nearing completion of restoration in the UK. Sam, I assume your C2.7 Targa is the one that was restored by a chap near Great Yarmouth and you had for sale about thre...

Re: Numbers..

I am open to discussion here but I think the total numbers produced should be ten less in each case as I believe Porsche did not use the chassis numbers 1-10 in each series. It's certainly the case with '74 to '77 911s that I have enquired about.

Just to say that it is possible to get an original registration number reinstated. I did this for my 1977 Carrera 3 which the second owner put his personal registration on to and was then allocated another 1977 registration when he sold. I remember having to obtain a form from the DVLA and send some...

Hi Graham,

Looks like the sort of bits for my Carrera 3.0 if I could take them.

Will PM you my address if I'm the first to respond and any particular charity you would like to see benefit.

I fell in love with this. On the one hand because this is exactly what my '74 Carrera will look like when restored. But also because it's a fantastic car. 2.7 RS engine, ducktail, 6" & 7"s, chrome lights, black trim, black leather sports seats, lime green, very early chassis number (1...
