So now all is well. Much easier to start, went well before but this little session has made everything drop i...

Re: Chris Harris and the Tuthil 911
This car is quite important IMHO. Its raised the stakes a fair bit And as the car could easily blend into any line up at a Porsche do ....It does it all without shouting I really like that. Trim colours a bit marmite but if you signing the Cheque you get the last say! Is it wrong that I want to take...

Re: Carrera 3.2 continued emissions / idle misery...
Short story.
UK cars did not have CAT from factory, this car is meant to run a solid 1.5% C02 at idle.
You can set it higher so it runs nicer
Mines set higher that 1.5%

Re: Cat S
I've not ever had an issue insuring a CAT C/D or N/S car. We've bought a couple of CAT S cars recently (2021/22). I pulled the bumper straight and drove one to get an MOT same day No inspections, no dramas getting back on the road Got my mum a new ish Polo that needed a back bumper and a tiny dent o...

Re: O/T WANTED - Cheap Reliable 5 Door Runaround
New driver? We've found cheaper to buy newer car and in turn get cheaper insurance which tbh surprised me a bit I'm not up on how insurance works Used to be half decent old banger and £1500 insurance you good to go. That's all gone out the window. Our 18yo with shiny new license back in May22 £4k fo...

Sad news. Been told Tony Outridge has passed away. Sorry do not have details nor details of any arrangements yet, a mutual friend called to let us know earlier today, a non DDk'er. I'm aware several of his friends in the trade would be on here, maybe aware/unaware of his illness and not yet know he ...
