Hi JB, sorry, just saw this. Yes, I was there, along with a lovely blue 356 owned by a chap called Melvin.
Most of the cars there to be fair were later models, lots of GT3’s stuff like that.

Re: Trip to the Porsche Museum - advice required
just to add .... if you don't want to go to the Ring, the Furka Pass for example is the same distance away from stuttgart but in the opposite direction .... you could run down to the alps and do some passes and then head back up north What month are you going ? planning on going late May, early Jun...

Re: Trip to the Porsche Museum - advice required
Staying at the V8 Hotel is definitely recommended. The onsite brewery does excellent dunkelweizen which pairs really well with whatever Flammkuchen you desire. If you're there for two nights, then the Böblingen mall is a short walk (past Porsche Böblingen as well) and has a great wee Maultaschen ta...

Re: Trip to the Porsche Museum - advice required
well, that was awkward. I genuinely thought that after the UN was done with the Pesky Nazi's - they had a blat around the ring for sh*ts and giggles. !! should have paid more attention in geography.
helpful to know - thank you!

Guys, hope that you are all well! - spring is almost upon us and both my cars are getting itchy to come out. I'm planning on taking my son to the Porsche museum in Stuttgart - I'm hoping I can get a run around the Nuremberg ring too. I'm travelling on the eurotunnel from calais and I think this is a...

Poor old Mike is having a struggle at the moment, his FB site has been hacked and FB are dragging their heels over it. Pretty shocking actually.

Re: Audi TT, any comments?
well, I've just joined the club https://www.eporsch.co.uk/listings/2006-56-porsche-boxster-2-7-987-tiptronic-s-pe56ybg/ something slightly different from the norm. ( its not technically silver ) - and the terracotta interior my wife liked - just like the 'tip-ironic' gear box - ( I struggled with th...

Re: Audi TT, any comments?
thank you for the comments regarding the Boxster. I'm personally umming and ahhing over whether to go for an 04 and get the most classic of looks, but the tired interior, or an 05+ - which gets you a more modern car I feel, especially the interior. I can't work out the prices of cars these days - so...

Re: Festival of Speed Ticket for the Friday - WTB
Surely the answer is if you don’t like it, don’t go rather than pay a lot of money for tickets and then moan about it? Personally, I am glad that people put on events like this so the general public have a choice. And enough people do seem to enjoy the day out. I think that’s fair, I actually went ...
