Typical MGB (low value) racer, adopting the 'drive it like you hate it' style. I bet the MGA driver waited for a very very big gap before he lapped that one. Having said that, not the smoothest lines from the 356 or the Alfa but pretty ballsy racing. I wonder if they actually touched doors. Did you ...

My 944 S2 on Ebay
I have just listed my 944 on Ebay and it's a particularly good example. It's listing number 330419154705 if you wanna take a look. If a DDK member buys it, I could deliver it (within 200 approx miles) for free. if desired.

Hi Malcolm, Near the back of Classic and Sports Car, you will spot an advert that has a picture of a 356C in it. Sterling Automotive of Newbury is the name if I recall and their workmanship is first class. I would definately recommend them. I think the owners name is Kalvin or something similar. Nic...

PLEASE tell me that you can bring the car to the classic vehicle show at Newbury Racecourse this Sunday (9th). I would love an opportunity to look it over. There's a tinny waiting for you in my trade pitch if you do. Look for the Light Ivory 356C and I'll be the nervous looking bloke trying to stop ...

Your issue stems from having inertia reel seatbelts fitted into the captive nut that Porsche set for static belts. I had the same issue but it was not a problem as I had decided to retro fit static belts anyway. I purchased the period correct belts from 'Quickfit Safety Belt Services' and I know tha...

That looks stunning. Assuming that your Marlborough is the one in Wiltshire, Will you be taking it to the Classic Vehicle Show at Newbury Racecourse on 9th August. The show raises money for Leukaemia research and could always use cars like yours. I am going to take a trade pitch and hope to have the...

I saw this car in the flesh a couple of months ago when I collected a VW camper from his son to repair it. I'm going to get shredded for saying this.... but actually it does look better than in the pictures and indeed, seems like a very well made kit car. Now, before you rush to your keyboards, it's...

993 front bumper beading
I am a classic car restorer and I'm refurbing the front of an L reg 993 and notice that the beading between the upper rear edge of the front bumper and the leading edge of the wings is attached to the bumper by staples. I hate to sound like a numpty but it's been a while since I've taken a bumper of...

Maintenance and repair work for forum members.
I hope it's ok to use this section of the forum to offer my services but having just finished a couple of restoration jobs, I really don't have much work in the pipeline. I am self employed and carry out repairs, maintenance and restoration on classic cars. You may have seen the 356C that I currentl...
