Re: Very sad news
Shame,
Visited not long after it opened - met Tom in the cafe, he was such a nice guy and really chuffed at how the museum was received.
Visited it a few years ago and some of the spirit had gone - but like F1 really.

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Maclaren are the only heavy company left without and SUV. I love our early Cayenne but Mercedes, (despite the dubious buyers) still the only people to do it properly. But maybe it's time to resurrect truck racing, then we'd all like these things a little more especially if it was a rallycross format!

Re: 21st Century Outlaw 997 Project
Wow!
thanks for this - respect for your bodywork skills and the story telling.
Am about to borrow a 997 for week to see if I'd rather have one than my Cayman, this has opened a whole window of possibilities and sadly on my skill an bravery levels.
Please keep the story coming!

Re: Classic motorbike 2 stroke experts?
This is a very long shot but,
Looking at the pictures the engine fueling is piston timed, was it running when you bought it? Do you know if the piston is the correct original type?
Like I say a long shot.

Graham, try the historic kart club, should have a number of contacts. Only one I know is John Mills but don't have a current number.

A SENIOR’S PERSPECTIVE OF FACEBOOK
For those of my generation who do not, and cannot, comprehend why Facebook exists I am trying to make friends outside of Facebook while applying the same principles. Therefore, every day I walk down the street and tell passers-by what I have eaten, how I feel at the moment, what I have done the nigh...

Re: Been to my first Rally today, RAC, Stage 1
Went to the Classic Car show instead - by the look of it you made the best decision! I'm amazed it's your first rally - does that mean you missed the tour Britannia at Loton a few years ago? How quick were they downhill? I remember back last century when the RAC 'proper' did Harewood in reverse - th...

964 RS Literature
Some rare items for 964 RS owners and fans. All these things are a bit difficult to price, I've based the figures here on auction results from earlier this year, but might be open to offers, particularly if you want more than one item. First the 964 RS sales brochure, sold The Service Information Te...

Re: 2.4 Distributor - Borrow?
This may help or not! I've got a123ignition programmable one taken from my modified '73 2.4.
Maps, documentation etc all available - but might just be a lot of hassle.
PM me if it's any help.
