Attaching horn grilles
Hi Folks,
Any tips on attaching the horn Grilles?
The studs are short and tiny.....Fine for a steel body but no use on my fiberglass kit. Any idea what size the studs are, M3 too big....

Hi Paul, Went to scrappies and chopped out a filler interior panel. flap and cap from a Hyundai something or other, used it as a mould in fibreglass. Got the filler neck as well....Then I cut the flap out of the wingtop, bonded the filler recess to the underside of the wing and bonded the hinge to m...

Cheers Rich! I cut filler flap with a fine jigsaw then hinged the cutout....Door gaps are not too bad at all, in fact I had to do some filing back to make some clearance. This is taking forever...... :( Yep, all done in my cramped and dusty garage... Hopefully I have completed the final coat on Saturday.....After several coats of filler primer and lots of sanding, I put on a few topcoats. It looked fantastic....from about 10 feet....! Close up it was full of scratche...
