Thanks for your input Neil. So, you suspect wiring or the gauge. Andy suspects the sensor. Looks like there’s no short cut, need to check everything.

You might also want to consider an electric fence surrounding that land, some dogs, floodlights and a shotgun to protect those vegetables and water. Nothing motivates thieves more than a hungry belly and a dry throat.
