The wife is away for the whole weekend so I get to spend as much time as I like being my car ready for the first sprint event in going to be entering at the end of the month. Got a fair bit to do to get it ready for an MOT

Started making a new gear linkage for my 914. I'm making a version using 2 universal joints which by all accounts will.make shifting much more accurate when on the track. Once it's completed I might actually get to drive the car which I haven't done since last June when my linkage broke at Harewood ...

They make 914 exhausts that are twin outlet - they might be able to make one for your HE'S. Crap websi...

The 'silencer' (it doesn't silence much, but it does make it a bit quieter than the one I replaced it with!) was a bursch which I got got from Roger Bray. There are (or were) a few versions around with different packing levels. I think the one Dean now has was pretty much a straight through exhaust....

Here's a thread about heat exchangers - I'm guessing you have those shown in post 15?

If so you probably need some kind of custom exhaust from somewhere - the are meant places that do them, or try a US supplier and import one

Be careful sending stuff by Hermes though - they list vehicle parts as prohibited items on there website. Looks like not many people like shipping car parts
