Re: Classic Car Rescue.
It was a comical programme but it was nice to hear that v8 engine and to see a 928 get some praise. It was really comical when they talked about 928 but showed footage of a 968 and 944. Was that David Hemings? When the guy said "I am Mr 928?"

Re: Now here's something that might surprise you...
We all tend to think the 356 Speedster is a little car, and that later 911s, with arches and spoilers, were bulky... http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t318/Photokernow/Sidesx2.jpg Been wanting to do this comparison for some time and we finally managed to get the two cars together. 8) I thought I'd...

Re: Stoneleigh
IF my speedster has a roof or tonneau by then, and all the other problems are fixed (please Gary!) then I would love to go along, not been for many many years. It's the day after Stanford Hall, right?

Very sad to read about this. Not been on here for a while and saw it just today. Only met Ian the once at a show briefly but he seemed like a top bloke and if i'm not mistaken had a lovely young family. Thought are with his family. RIP Ian.
