Re: London .. help on where to live
It seems like the intention is to live a "London" life for a year or so....and it might be worth considering what that entails... it could be long commutes on the tube train most days and weekends doing the same to get to Central London attractions... or its about living somewhere close to...

Loving the videos..... brilliant work as ever. Well done.
Also impressed that you are using the correct coolant in your new rad. Is that the Belgian spec stuff? Avoids the need for anti-freeze I assume?

Re: Best aftermarket seats
I have replica sports seats in my 72E, black leather and houndstooth insert. I do not recall who made them, Alan D may remember. Aside from aesthetic issues I think a trial sitting is essential, the soft inlay part is quite narrow at the back of the seat base and with the firmer section to each side...

Re: Any WWII airplane history experts?
You' re welcome... it was a very brief 'episode' and nothing remotely as detailed and in depth that what your father experienced. It was fun to have everything in one place..pretty much all at the same time....Spits/ Yak/ Buckers, Tiger Moth and Stampe.. plus a Cap 10, Cessna 180, Pilatus P2and a fe...

Re: Any WWII airplane history experts?
Might I add a very narrow and individual view on this; having worked on both RR and Packard Merlins, as well as a BMW radial engine....along with Spitfire airframes, a YAK 3 (Russian built) and an Bucker Bu133 (WW2 Germain trainer) and Bu181. The engines were all much of a muchness in terms of engin...

Re: AA, RAC, Green Flag, Alternative?
Been with the AA for a coupe of decades now... not used them much but enough to stay with them. The 'only' problem is that they insist in getting a 'patrolman' to look at the car and attempt a repair, regardless of the type of problem. At times that does add hours to the recovery process. During whi...

Re: Child Seats - recommendations and fitting tips?!
You might find that your 73 car already has the fixing points for three point belts.
My 72 LHD car (French delivery) did and I simply had three pointers from Quickfit installed.
