It's been for sale for ages. You can get rebuilt motor cars needing cosmetics for £12-14k. Portiacraft has one last summer they couldn't shift in red for that money (C4). RPM Technik also have a reasonable turnover of '64's. Roly at Eporsch has a nice looking C4 with a rebuilt motor for £15k that is...

Not a 993 but nice colour and a very reasonable price (as long as it isn't leaky)

The G Burner car was originally sold by fuchs for £8k (with fuchs on it) to someone off VZi. He then changed the hweels and did a bit of tidying and swapped it for a bay window. The guy with the bay window then decided he wanted a camper again, ebay'd it and VZi. It had a few issues, front wings, th...

I got my copy yesterday(subscriber). the C2C article is excellent with a lot of DDK mention(and some 'interesting' comments about the club/forum ;) ). Helen you are name checked a few times and there are interesting comparisons on your cars versus each other and against the author's normal drive (96...

I've had another more pushy reply - anyone get the same? I'll say this politely, it is written in 2nd language english which doesn't tally with someone called 'Terence Banfield' ;)

Response to my email enquiy via pistonheads (no phone number in ad) "I appreciate your interest for my car. Here are some details: Classic 1972 Porsche 911 2.4. The car is like new, in perfect condition, accident free, no special marks, no need for additional repairs what so ever, no engine pro...

IIRC it started at £17k ish.

The trader advertises P&911World and often has a number of cars and parts listed. No landline, no web address only mobile. Seems to shift through some stock though month on month.

I'd be interested in the opinion of someone who has viewed it.

Steve it's a great article and you should be proud of the work you put in - it certainly comes across as a self built project in and around 'normal hectic life'. The car looks fantastic in print. It is also clear than you having £13k in the car is a result of said hard work/labour hours and doing you...

Porsche & 911 World October '09- backdates

As I have the pleasure of a day off to make it an even longer bank holiday weekend and also the undoubted displeasure of putting up with thunder and horrendous downpours, my day has turned from shopping and catching up on some around the house jobs to opening my subscribers copy of P&911 world o...

Can't you get them to stop the £4.5k and swipe the card for the rest (or use a credit card?). Surely they should also have advised you to do a direct transfer (for a fee) which is the only way of transferring funds for a house sale. They could only take £8k max cash. All in all very frustrating thou...
