But I've not yet posted full details of the spec. Been meaning to add my own thread in the restorations sections, maybe that's my job for the winter.

What have you got in there? It's a warm type 1 VW unit, built slowly & properly by someone who knew what they were doing (not me!). It has EFI and a 911 style cooling fan, so it's pretty, and it gives 134bhp at the wheels accroding to the fancy machine. Never fails to make me smile. Now I know ...
