Type B50 TJ Air Filters?

I am trying to replace the air filters in my 1963 356c (with standard Zenith 32NDIX carbs). However the ones I have been sent are metal top and bottom and seem slightly too big for the cans, causing them not to close properly (perhaps my cans are not correct). However, the dirty ones that I removed ...

Cheers Nick,

I'll definitely bear that in mind! I have a couple of options left to exhaust first.

What kind of condition is it in?

Are 050 Distributors out of production

Hello, does anybody KNOW the situation with the Bosch 050 Distributor. I get the impression from a couple of notices on this forum and a few parts suppliers, that they are out of production? However, one supplier gave me the impression that they may just be temporarily out of production, with the ma...

Cheers,

it looks fine in motion, not so good under expert scrutiny. The odd bubble here and there with a touch of paint work requiring attention.

That's the fellow in the Nick Moss picture labelled 0231129022.

Anyone know anything about them?
Is it correct for a 356c?
Are they any good?

Cheers

How do identify my distributor?

Hello, I am sorry if I sound like a complete idiot, but how do identify which distributor is fitted to my vehicle, 050 or 009? It doesn't seem to be marked. There is a plate which says ' Bosch Germany Importe D'Allemagne 0 231 129 022 then an arrow and then VJR4. I have pictures from the web of each...

Help required with miss firing engine.

Hello, I have recently been having trouble with the engine of my 356c. I was wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone. - When I first start the car up everything is OK. - When it is warmed up everything seems OK as well. - However as soon as I put any load on the engine, i.e. by putting my foot d...
