. Since I'm planning on replacing the std air cleaner assembly with a pair of K&N Watershields, I fitted the 'period' VDO plastic washer bottle (mentioned earlier in this thread) as an oil vapour catch tank in the right hand rear corner of the engine compartment: https://live.staticflickr.com/65...

Did the gauge on your car look like mine? I believe there are more than one type. Mine was a 'C' (& also 12v) but the gauge was almost identical - differing only by having 2 additional warning lights in the centre circle. There were many versions of this combi gauge - some with numbers for the ...
