Which air do you put in your tyres?
Which air do you put in your tyres? I usually use Tesco air at 20p. However, last week I was stuck and had to use BP air and that was 50p. I think that the Porsche went much faster with BP air in, but that could just be psychological as someone told me that supermarket air is usually crap. What do y...

Re: New daily driver....back in an Alfa
Love them, I used to thrash about in a Sud in my youth. I currently have stashed away a 3.0 166 V6 Lusso (my2001) with a manual box. It's a bit of a dog paintwise and it rarely gets used these days, but it's lovely to drive and I can't bring myself to part with it. Your 159 does looks great and make...

Re: Wolfies
I'm sure that I have a set of 5x130 Wolfies stashed somewhere in the back of a barn. I'll hunt them out next week and see what size they are. Cheers, Kevin I found the set of Wolfrace slots that I have (there are five) and I do remember buying them years ago as 5x130 fitment (they were never fitted...

Re: 356/912 engine SCAM ALERT
Definitely a scam imho. I live only a few miles away and have also been in touch with the (supposed) seller. I am so lucky I could have had it for ony £2990 (he then immediately accepted an offer of £2500), bank transfer only, no deposits pending collection, money upfront and collection in 4 days fr...

Re: Has anyone owned/resorted a BMW E9 CS
I had a 3.0 CSi about 10 years or more ago. It looked decent and got lots of attention, but didn't drive half as well as an early 911 (that might have had something to do with the wheels/tyres I had on and the huge steering wheel) http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa60/Grindon/BMW%20540i%20Touring/...

Re: Transfering number plates.
Pre 60 ( or whatever the cut off date is ) don't need an mot ... How does that effect things? Hi, the DVLA told me that all pre 1963 (dateless?) vehicles WILL be inspected by their newly appointed private agents (no longer VOSA). This can be done at your home or workpace by appointment, and at no c...

Info on a 50's Porsche 'import' registration No plate pls?
I was chatting to a fella today who showed me this (see below). He says it's a temporary registration plate as issued in Germany in the late 50's for people who were then required to travel over there to pick up their new cars personally (pre UK Porsche dealer days?). The numbers refer to the year i...
