Re: NOVA declaration/C&E 386
Think I have answered my own question but thought I would post here just in case it helps anyone in the future. According to the website of the Federation of Historic Vehicle Clubs a completed C&E 386 (dated prior to the introduction of the NOVA scheme) will be accepted by the DVLA for the purpo...

NOVA declaration/C&E 386
Can anyone clarify if the possession of a completed, stamped and dated C&E 386 from HMRC counts as 'NOVA' notification?

Re: Tariff Codes to USA
Thanks, unfortunately they have already gone by TNT and are being held by customs so I need to send another copy of the Commercial Invoice that I have already supplied but this time they have asked for a 'tariff code' to be included! The very helpful people at TNT (not) kindly supplied me a link to ...

Tariff Codes to USA
Had a consignment of two wing mirrors held in customs going into the USA because I didn't include a tariff code......had a look at the tariff code pages and have lost the will to live! Anyone got any experience with these codes, is there a generic one to cover classic car parts? Any help appreciated...

Re: Anyone waiting for UK registration on an imported vehicl
Thanks Andy Think I have got to the bottom of it and explains why I couldn't remember what I did with the T/R (because it turns out I didn't have to do anything!). Provided you have the completed C&E 386 dated from before the 15th April 2013 the DVLA will accept it as notification and proof of d...

Re: Anyone waiting for UK registration on an imported vehicl
Tried again but because I am not VAT registered you can only use the HMRC NOVA site to notify of vehicles imported from other EU members; helpfully it doesn't say where to go from there for non EU import!

Re: Anyone waiting for UK registration on an imported vehicl
Many thanks to Andy for starting such a helpful thread and the various contributions. Would be interested if anyone could clarify the position with regard to NOVA registration and if it is required in the following situation? It is a 1968 911T that was brought into the UK form the USA by the previou...

I thought I read somewhere that the bulk of the Porsche auction lots were from the collection of Jonathan Williams (son of Frank).
