Leaky Weber 40IDA's on 911 - help!
After a while stored in the garage I started up my '71 911T ready for the MOT. The motor runs a PMO Weber 40IDA 3C set up. I sensed a strong smell of petrol and found fuel to be leaking from the accelerator pump bodies on both carbs - see below http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b208/porsche911t/carb...

Charcoal Filter braided hose?
I need to replace the fuel tank breather braided hose in the luggage compartment on a '71 911 - has anyone been able to source this in OE style material?

Re: Electronic Ignition. Where to get a good unit?
I found this company based in the UK, http://www.simonbbc.com/
They sell the Powerspark range of ignition components. They seem pretty knowledgeable and offer both points/condenser kits or electronic upgrades. Can't vouch for the quality versus the Pertronix kits, however they are quite a bit cheaper

Re: Installing rear seat belts
Looking to do the same on my '71 911, does the rear parcel shelf need modding? Would be good to see some pics if anyone has done this

M.O.T emergency - need a U.S spec front indicator lense!
I have a crack in the right hand side front indicator lense (turn signal for the U.S guys!) on my 1971T therefore I need a lense asap for the MOT.
It is an all orange lens with the silver 'chrome' trim - if anyone has a spare please let me know
Cheers

'71 911T - Which contact breaker points?
My '71 2.2 has a Bosch dizzy, and the attempts to get the correct points have failed!
The points I keep being presented with are the wrong 'hand'
Can anyone offer help in the best way to identify the correct points?

Spark plug removal - best tool/socket?
In 11 years of 911 ownership, I've always made do with my old socket set, and therefore struggled with the annual spark plug check - are there any off the shelf sockets suitable for the job, or has anyone come across a suitable solution?

Child seat (0-4 years) in '71 911?
I'm dieing to take my 10 month old daughter out in my 911T, but I'm not sure if a child seat will fit.
I've found a child seat which offers to point belt fitment, i.e. it would be ok with the lap belt, but I'm concerned that the snug rears on the 911 may not accept the seat - any ideas?
