Got the LUK clutch kit today - opened up to check it and guess what ??

It's got Sachs stamped all over it !!!
Genuine Sachs clutch - anyone know if LUK is owned by Sachs or is it the other way round ??
By the way - it was 210 plus vat trade

Thats probably about right -its been ordered a couple of weeks now - in no rush though, car's miles off yet

clutch price

I just ordered one from L UK - should have it by the 30th as its not a stock item - will let you know final cost if you wish, was assured it to be about the 250 mark with vat

It will work - I do the same thing on customers frames with quite a good level of success ie. have yet to break one !!!

Question - do you need to save the frames ? If so, it is one hell of a job, assuming they are not 'siliconed' in. The original opening vents should be held in by a rubber 'grip' strip, the best way to attack this is by either 1 - loads of WD40 and leave it to soak for as long as possible - that way ...

Hi folks
New to this forum - hi to all, I have a 68 swb 911 project which is a full restoration. Engine totally rebuilt, ready to be fired up in the next week or 2 when I pluck up the courage !!
