Just working on the race programme for next year, we may well be racing the Chevron B8 there. If so, happy to meet up and show folks around the car!

Re: Welcome to the new improved DDK Forum.....

Hi Bootsy and Olena,

Great work, like the look and feel of the site. Much more modern.

A simple comment, on my AmAzon tablet, the search box, top right, is partly over the advertising banner.

Olena, keep strong, we are all behind you.

Re: 1968 911S mix too rich at 9.3?

Far too rich, agree with James. Dont be tempted by the pub numbers, engines make what they make, the key in setup is driveability and smoothness. I have done a good few where we could get more horsepower at the top but leaving the mid range a nasty place to be. The engine will tell you when it is ha...

Re: Really OT: ford pinto larger displacement

No real need to go bigger, the overall architecture on these engines is pretty good. The head is better than many think, the ports are a bit too big really, but will support a fairly wild cam without much effort. Bottom end is pretty strong, you can pick up a YB crank and rods sensibly if you want t...

Re: The Icon 917k rep

Had a good look at it about 18 months ago, an awful lot of work has been done to make a creditable replica of a fantastic car. I worked with one of the builders, Dave Eaton, many years ago, and a bit later worked for him in a typical backstreet garage. He is a clever guy and has dedicated a lot of t...

Re: WTB: DTA S40 or S60 ECU

Accepting the DTA dealer link, so going off piste a little.

I use a few Life ecus, they do a whole range, simple to set up and use, good data logging capability.
